The Project

Dedicated to all things Warhammer 40K 2nd Edition, the site aims to become an enthusiasts repository with information, faqs, stats, resources and whatever else seems to fit.

Founded by Jon McCoy (ExLibris28.com and @madebymccoy) as both a place to neatly organise all of the tidbits of knowledge and data collected over the years, but to also share and open discussion with the community.

And this site is quite new; founded in September 2019 (and still active as of Jan 2024). That's right, you've not stumbled upon an ancient relic left adrift in the dark galaxtic seas, but a new and fresh attempt to hoard over 26 years worth of 2nd edition knowledge.

Better yet, there's a plan. As the site grows, it will spawn new pages, posts and resources. The structure now is to have a handful of fixed pages that outline the games and main resources. Hopefully through tags and well named posts, each game can be expanded with discussions, information scraped from random forum posts, tidbits from ancient publications, house rules from around the globe - and eventually our own resources in the form of datacards, reference sheets and a living rulebook.

If there's content you'd like to share, corrections or would like to contribute, then please get in touch (via Instagram for the time being). At the moment, 2e40k is a work of passion by just one enthusiast/hoarder/fanatic/obsessive, namely @madebymccoy.
