Introduction

This list outlines all articles in The Citadel Journal (issues 1-28) relating to Warhammer 40K 2nd Edition.

The journal was first in print from 1985-1987 for four irregular issues, and subsequently was relaunched between 1994-2002, with 50 issues being published. Issues 1-28 were released during 2nd Edition, with issues 29-50 being released during 3rd edition. In 2004, all of the individual specialist magazines were merged into the singlular Fanatic Magazine (which itself was ended after only 10 issues, and migrated to Fanatic Online).

Treated as a sandbox for writers and game assistants, there were many rules developed for kitbashed and non-standard units, including Rogue Traders, ATV and Tyranids.
