Warhammer 40K 7th Edition

The 7th Edition saw the rules be melded into something more closely resembling the 2nd Edition, but still without unit-specific movement distances. Highly complex and very bloated, it was rumoured that 8th Edition would clean up and take the rules very much back into familiar realms of the 2nd Edition. During development of the 8th Edition, work was abandonded, and an entirely new ruleset was rapidly developed.
