Introduction

Released in October of 1993 as the first dedicated boxset, the original roleplay elements of Rogue Trader had evolved through various expansions culminating in an entirely new game system, that become lovingly referred to as the "Second Edition".

Rewritten under the direction of Andy Chambers, the new edition took a more serious and pessimistic tone than it's predecessor (a direction much lamented by Rick Priestly).

With new branding and styling that lasted until the release of the 3rd Edition in 1998, the rulebooks were packed with beautifully lavish artwork by the likes of John Blanche and Wayne England.
